His staff try their best to provide you with estimates of surgery costs, but the actual total cost of your operation can only be determined after a personal consultation with him in his Draper, UT office. This is because certain variables or issues cannot be anticipated or determined from telephone conversations or even photographs and he must examine you in order to plan the surgery that will provide you with the best result. Price quotes obtained after consultation with him include all costs associated with the surgery, operating room, anesthesia, and standard recovery. The only costs not included in the price quote are costs associated with prescription medications, required lab tests, mammogram, or other x-rays, and possibly pathology examination of breast or other tissue in specific situations.

It is important to understand that sometimes returning to the operating room to perform revision surgery may be necessary and that additional costs from any revision surgery are not included in your initial price quote. Dr. Fryer’s policy regarding revision surgery is that patients are responsible for the costs of the operating room and anesthesia (which can be accurately estimated prior to most revision surgeries) and he does not charge his own patients a surgeon’s fee. Although extraordinarily uncommon, circumstances can arise that may require hospitalization, further diagnostic tests, or other inpatient treatment, and the associated costs of these unanticipated expenses is not included in your cosmetic surgery fee.
